Tom Patty learned about marketing from clients like Steve Jobs, found of Apple Computer, Phil Knight, founder of Nike Inc., and Steve Reinemund CEO of PepsiCo Worldwide. Tom spent 21 years working at “the hottest advertising agency in the country”–Chiat/Day advertising, where he worked with some of the best and biggest brand in the world (Nissan Motors, Pizza Hut, Nike, and Apple Computer)
In 1998, Tom retired from TBWA Chiat/Day as president and Worldwide Account Director, after helping to sell the agency to Omnicom, one of the largest advertising companies in the world.
Now Tom lives with his wife Susan in Dana Point. He rides his bicycle 100 miles a week, goes sailboat racing every Thursday, and plays guitar with a small neighborhood group.
Tom volunteers his time by counseling and giving marketing presentations for the Orange County chapter of SCORE, “Counselors to small business”. Tom has been instrumental in the growth and success of SCORE’s Orange County chapter since joining in 2003.
